Our two-day instructor-led online AIGP training course is designed to build practical skills in AI governance while supporting participants preparing for the IAPP’s Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification. The AIGP is a globally recognised credential that demonstrates an understanding of how to develop, integrate and manage trustworthy AI systems in line with emerging laws, standards and best practices.
Developed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest global privacy community, the AIGP certification focuses on the governance of AI across its lifecycle. It covers key areas including the foundations of AI governance, applicable laws and frameworks, and the management of risks during the development, deployment and ongoing use of AI systems across jurisdictions.
Delivered online over two full-day sessions, the course provides structured, interactive learning led by experienced practitioners. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how to implement AI governance frameworks, manage risk and ensure responsible use of AI technologies, while also receiving guidance to support exam preparation.
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, a basic understanding of privacy, risk, compliance or technology concepts will be beneficial. This course is ideal for those looking to formalise their knowledge through a globally recognised AIGP certification and build capability in governing AI systems responsibly.
