Privacy 108 has made a submission to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s (OAIC) Exposure Draft for the Children’s Online Privacy Code (COPC). The draft COPC is an important development in Australia’s privacy framework and represents a meaningful uplift of children’s privacy protections.

In our submission, we’ve provided a number of comments and recommendations to help maximise the Code’s impact and support its successful implementation.
