Our online privacy training program is a robust, interactive way to learn the critical privacy concepts that are integral to the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification exam.

Privacy in Technology training teaches technology and data professionals how to understand and integrate strategies and techniques to minimize privacy threats. The curriculum includes privacy-by-design principles; implementing data- and process-oriented strategies to support privacy policies; and managing threats from AI, location tracking, etc.

Delivered over two (2) full day sessions, our on-line training provides the opportunity of instructor led learning as part of a group accessible from anywhere in Australia.

This training is appropriate for professionals who plan to certify, as well for those who want to deepen their privacy knowledge. This training in not just a test prep course, nor does taking the training guarantee you’ll pass your exam (hey, it’s not that easy).

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites for this course. However, some prior experience in the field or a good knowledge of security management programs is very useful. You’ve got the knowledge. Course content

The CIPT

Privacy in Technology training is the how-to course on privacy and data protection practices and the development, engineering, deployment and auditing of IT products and services. Those taking the course will develop an understanding of privacy-related issues and practices I the context of the design and implementation of information and communication technologies and systems.

The training is based on the body of knowledge for the IAPP’s ANZI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Technology (CIPT) certification program. The CIPT program was developed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), which is the world’s largest comprehensive global information privacy community and resource.
