Convention 108
A lot of people ask about our name – Privacy 108. Those of you who are privacy tragics like us will recognise the nod to Convention 108, passed by the Council of Europe more than 40 years ago which was the first international regulation to cover the protection of data as part of maintaining our fundamental human rights.
